This is who I hope Gruden sets his sights on...

Doubtful, but I'd love to see this guy in pewter...

I wouldn't mind Travis Henry either...

Something tells me that Gruden is going to go after a WR in the draft and early... If he gets another WR, then we could be in the market for a free agent RB...

I supported Pittman through all his BS, and now he needs to be gone. Time to cut the ties and realize he isn't going to be the guy for us. Those fumbles just kill me... Garner may never be the same, though we never saw what he had to offer anyway. Alstott is gone, sad as it is, he will be a salary cap casualty. What does this leave us with??? SHIT, that's what...

what about QB??? Can Griese win games when he needs to? Can he do it in crunchtime? We already know he is damn good at throwing interceptions at the worst time possible... Does Gruden have any confidence in Simms whatsoever???

I'm just rambling here...

I think that Alexander is one of the most overrated players in the NFL. He isnt overly tough or fast. He has obviously been one of the most consistent performers in the NFL over the last few years, and he will be paid accordingly.

We cannot afford him, nor should we even consider paying him what he will be asking.

Travis Henry would be fine for the right price (maybe a 3rd rounder). But he now has durability concerns, and is likely looking for a big pay day with his new team. With the money that we gave Garner, we cannot afford to pay Henry either.

My free agent choice at RB is Edgerin James, but again we cannot even pretend to be in the bidding.

We do have concerns at QB, RB, and WR. One of these will be addressed with our 5th overall pick, and the others later in the draft and in free agency. I like Cedric Benson, Mike Williams, and Aaron Rodgers at #5. But all three of those guys could be gone before we pick.

I would guess that we will take Cedric Benson at #5, or if he is gone, trade down and take Ronnie Brown

Pittman has to go, Garner will probably get another shot (even though he should do us all a favour and retire), and I hope that Alstott will re-negotiate his contract to stick around. I think that he has improved substantially as a FB, and deserves to stay.

Griese will likely sign a 4 or 5 year deal, with the ability to cut him after 2 or 3 years. I do not want Griese because he has proven to be a choker when his performance matters most. Although at the right price, Griese is likely the best person for the starting QB job right now. Simms will forever be an average back-up QB. Simms may compete for playing time with Griese, but only because Griese is so unreliable.

With all the Gruden talk about having to be able to run the ball, I doubt the 5th pick goes to a WR. Trade down and get OL and RB ....

I do wonder why Ian Smart didn't play more in last game ..... he may have some potential.
