Good pickup...I always thought he played well for the twinkies...Reasonable money too..

Its gonna be a shame to have to watch pierzynski on the other bench... But, if Mauer stays healthy... pierzynski will have his reason as to why he is gone....

Also, this is a significant upgrade at the catcher position for the Sox...good sign...

good signing but the White sox will still finish 4th so who cares.

Trends would say that that will not occur...although it is mathematically possible...

Trends say it will happen due to the White Sox having a pathetic offseason. They dumped 3 of their top 5 offensive players, gave a bunch of money to crappy pitchers, brought nobody of any use other then Pierzynski, and are about to realize the fluke known as Juan Uribe. Then you go to their bullpen which is the worst in the division and I'm not sure it's even close. Takatsu is great, Marte should be but had a horrible year, and the rest is pure garbage.

It's my unbiased opinion of how the division's Starting pitchers, Bullpens, and Lineups match up.

If you did that last year with the Cardinals in the NL Central...They'd be horrible...Oh wait...They went to the World Series...Point is...That is a waste of time analysis. Sox have CONSISTENTLY been competitive for the last 15 years kid...Not only that...Our current GM has been quite active during the trading deadline the last few years...so you can't even make that 1,2,3,4,5 assessment for half the damn year...much less what other teams do...I know one thing...The sox are MUCH more balanced than in previous years...So we'll see what that translates into...Like I said, Sox CAN finish 4th...But they haven't previously...so we'll see...

If I did it with last year's Cardinals i bet the outcome would be them winning the Central. They had the best 1st baseman, shortstop, third basman, Center Fielder, Catcher, and bullpen, off the top of my head, going into last season.

It's nice to have a strong team "on paper." Congrats on your "analysis." Here's my analysis:

Sox 1
Cle 2
Det 3
Min 4
KC 5

AND as an added bonus, my analysis our our analyses:

Mine 1
Yours 2

Have a good day.
