i think i get it all except the part at the top:

NFL Weeks 1-4: 1 game
NFL Weeks 5-8: 2 games
NFL Weeks 9-12: 1 game

what does that mean?

In order to get a complete 16 game season and playoffs, your team needs to play 2 games some weeks. So, in NFL week 5 you'll actually be playing your opponents for week 5 and 6.

not in lomardi in schmidt , but Wouldn't it be easier and more fair to just play a 12 game schdule? or at least annouced dbl weeks before draft day? we may have altered our draft if our best players had byes in those weeks since a loss would count double!

It was known well ahead of time, in fact, it was said when the league was forming, that there would be double weeks.

That it was. I believe it was one of the first posts I made back when we formed the league. Issues regarding lineups, scheduling, divisions, etc. should be of no surprise to you guys, as much (If not all) of this information was distributed back in April/May.

For those wondering about the other three conferences, I will get those up once I arrive at home tonight.

I wasn't saying didn't know we would have double weeks just saying it should have been posted which weeks before draft that is all i was saying.

p.s i would sugest that the double weeks be done in 9-12 would make it more more interesting for a player/manager that is behind he could hope for injurys to leaders and make a monster comeback in final weeks since they count double, could also help keep manager thats thinking of giving up to remain playing!

well, maybe for next year. We're not going to change scheduling now that the season has started. Sully did inform us that the double headers would be played midseason, so if you missed that post, sorry. Some people, I imagine, did draft based on that schedule and it would be unfair to those that kept up with the news to go and change the scheduling now.

i was one that didn't know about the double weeks (joined well after the nuts and bolts of the league was made i believe) but that's fine. i'm just checking on the possible results. so in week 5 if i win i get 2 wins for my team, lose and i get 2 losses, right? and that goes for all 4 weeks? just checking so i know for sure.

No, to clarify you play 2 different teams in one week. If your team has a bad week, then you lose 2 games more than likely. But it's possible to win one and lose the other, or win 2 games. We're not counting one game as 2 games, get what I mean??

Basically you play your week 5 opponent and week 6 opponent in NFL week 5, 7 and 8 opponent in NFL week 6, 9 and 10 in NFL week 7, and 11 and 12 in NFL week 8, then week 13-16 opponents in NFL weeks 9-12, respectively. Then in NFL weeks 13-17, we have our playoffs.

It's done that way to have a complete 16 game schedule and still have time left over to have playoffs in the remaining NFL weeks.

1 loss will not automatically equal 2 losses, you are playing 2 opponents those weeks, with the possibility of going 2-0, 1-1, or 0-2.
