Santa Clara just beat Stanford by 10.

I'm not trying to pretend that they're great or anything, but they've been in the "others recieving votes" in the one poll before now....I didn't get to see the Carolina game or anything, but they seem like a pretty decent mid-major this year.

Why? Santa Clara is in the "others recieving votes" portion, as I noted. And with another double digit win over a major conference team (that was ranked last week - I'm not sure anymore) they could be a ranked mid-major by this time next week.
