I'm not a regular on the ESPN board, but I've been following you guys over there because I'm always trying to find the latest info on my Sooner's former running back. I agree that the ESPN boards suck, which is why I never joined. I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan as well, but I've had a soft spot for Denver for a couple of years, Ed reminded me a bit of Steve Largent, whom I was a fan of years ago (got to meet him in Seattle's loss to the Chief's at Arrowhead in the fall of '84), except I think Ed was quite a bit faster than Steve, but great hands and not afraid to go over the middle. I was never much of an Elway fan, he struck me as kind of an azz(but I'm not a Jerry Jones or Jimmy Johnson fan either and they strike me even worse), I liked Troy because he played at OU in '84 and had lived in OK for a while, but he seemed a bit whiney for me. I'm not much of a troll and only delight in lighthearted smack talking, but I give it up when someone deserves it.
Anyways, I hope Denver goes far this year and I hope Q has a great career in the NFL (I wouldn't mind him in Dallas if Denver wants to dump him in favor of Bell, if you guys want a better back than Bell, you should have waited a year for Morency out of OSU, I'd rather my Sooners face Bell this year than Vern).

Josh was a great QB and a great team leader. Quite a story there with him, he'll be a great coach. I'm hoping we can keep him around, I'm thinking we'll loose Long in a couple of years. I know it's important with recruiting, but I think knowing Mike was leaving to take the Arizona job really threw the team offtrack for Kansas State and the LSU game. KSU flat out whooped our butts, I can't wait for the rematch, but LSU really only had us in the first half, they really tired down in the second. We probably could have beaten LSU had we executed. The run was working, I don't know why Long didn't try one on that last drive. I think we ought to give a big raise to our strength and conditioning coach as well, we need to keep him around.

Dbroncs, could you clarify that for me. Living in South Dakota when I hear go big red I instantly think of those damn Huskers. Up here you hate them or love them, Guess which one I choose.
I will give them some love, they do typically have the best offensive line in the nation, year in and year out, since I was an o-lineman all the way thru college i can respect them for that, but that is it.

It is suppose to be that way up here also. I guess I must be the mailman's kid, cuz all three of my younger brothers worship the big red. Go wyoming cowboys, they are the dark horse of ncaa once again this year. LOL

Nebraska has some classy fans, I'll give them that. I'm bummed that they had to resort to trick plays to beat us a couple years ago, but I hope they don't have to go thru the misery we went thru for so many years. (Schmellenburger? HA!!!)

Im from McCook. Its pretty close to Wauneta about 40 miles away I think. I bought a car from there. Most Huskers fans from Neb are nice, its the ones that aren't from there that you got to watch. I have a fun time talking about the Bluffs on the Broncos board because so many of them like them. OU and NU had some of the greatest games ever! Man I wished they played them every year instead of every other (unless NU wins the north)

Doesn't ring a bell right now. Are there any of them around 24 years old? How about Winder does that ring a bell to you?
