We football fans have on this ninth day of September, two thousand and four, aquired the following signatures stating that the National Football League should only hold games on the following days of the week: SUNDAY, with the exception of the now traditional Monday night football, of which we have declared to be acceptable. Please listen to us or suffer the consequences. Thank you so kindly!

Ammendment 1: Thanksgiving Thursday football can stay.

We could use some more signatures here. there has to be more people out there that don't like to see the season opener fall on a thursday. Although it was nice to finally have the season start last night, but I could have waited to see it on its proper day, Sundays

Friday should be reserved for high school football only (although a lot of metro schools around here play on Thursday for some reason.)

Saturday should be reserved for college football only (except the bowl games, but they ought to cut out about half of those and don't EVEN get me started on the BCS BS.)

Sunday should be reserved for the NFL only.
