Rick Short.

Man, there is another one of those former Orioles minor leaguers who really deserved a shot and never got one. I don't know how old he is now, but he could flat out hit a few years ago.

Its says hes an infielder. Maybe he can play 3rd. I'd say the other 3 positions are pretty wrapped up, and they are already in love with thier utility man, Jamey Carroll

He is a 3rd baseman. At least he was when he was in the O's system.

The more I think about what the O's did to Short (and SO MANY other minor leaguers), the more pissed off at them I get.

Please let him be better than Castilla

It's too bad they signed Castilla to a 2 year deal. I think that alone will make it near impossible for Clark to win the 3B job.

Defensively I don't think he'd have much trouble beating out Castilla. Offensively, specifically power-wise, is where Castilla will probably have the edge. Then again, with Castilla leaving Corrs Field again, who knows what he will do.

Castilla wont play every game this season. His big frame is starting to get old.

Did you know that oft injured Jeffery Hammonds was signed the same time as wil cordero? If he makes the team he'll only the getting 350,000.

Ahh yes, Hammonds was a former O's "phenom". He actually was pretty good back in the day. That is when he wasn't injured.
