I haven't been able to get used to this Thursday opening day thing. It's so contrived. Sunday's you wake up, do your "football Sunday rituals" and then prepare to watch non-stop football from 8 in the morning until 11 at night.

i understand that but it is just not right not having it on sundays

i could deal with football starting last Sunday and then having a Thursday night game....If it was the Chiefs vs Broncs tonight would you feel any different?
