Can we at least get a Big East forum the best conference in college basketball?

Well, there already is a forum for the best conference, but I'm sure they'd make a Big East one, too.

If there is not a Big East forum then there is not a forum for the best basketball conference in the country.

As far as I know, no.

You've got the last 2 national champs. Congrats on that.

The rest of the conference, comparitively speaking, is slop when matched against the ACC. There's really very little to debate on this topic. You can't measure a conference on only it's 1 or 2 best teams.

You're wrong, I checked and there isn't an SEC forum.

Perhaps if more then half the SEC schools had internet access, that might help.

We have the better conference all around. It's a fact. It will be even better next year. Big East rules college hoops.

They should have an old school board:

The Great Midwest Board or Metro Conference back when FSU, Memphis State, Cincy, Louisville, and Va Tech were in the Metro.

How bout a Big 8 board? Screw the Texas schools, they can have their Southwest Conference board.

Why?

Enyalois

This year: ACC = 88-21
Big East = 91-22

Pretty close Big East 3 undefeated teams, ACC 1.

And as said before the additions of Cincy, Depaul, Louisville, and Marquette should do nothing, but improve the quality of this conference. As far as, South Florida goes, eh.

Well, quite obviously, that's dependent completely on strength of out of conference schedule. For one, I know Syracuse has yet to leave the state of New York.

The ACC has had 4 top 10 teams for virtually the entire season and has 7 ranked teams over the last 2-3 weeks.

Despite a loss in the opener without Felton, UNC is still ranked much higher then Pitt. Wonder why?

Your point?

I'm not saying they shouldn't have won...it's just that they were without a big piece. That's all.

Freshman = Marvin Williams

Senior = Jawad Williams

Fat Overrated Kid??? = I think you mean Sean May, the ACC's leading rebounder last year. Tough to see why the #3 option on this team is overated though.

Nice work on N'Diaye........he was a transfer, that might have been why he seemed like he was around forever.

Curtis Staples was at Virginia for 19 years, if memory serves.

Didn't N'Diaye transfer from Wake to Michigan and then to UNC?

And for Va guys, it took me til his junior year to figure out that Courtney Alexander was not the same dude as Cory Alexander.

How bout Harold Dean?? He seemed like he was there forever.

Now that you mention it, you might be right.....I know he went from Michigan to UNC, and I seem to remember a school before that. Could've been Wake.

That's Nate Burleson u're thinking of. It's Kevins younger brother who went to Nevada.

The sad thing is we only recruited Kevin Burleson because he went to high school with Doug Wrenn who was saying he was going to the U of M, but then he got in some offcourt trouble, pulled his scholarship offer and he ended up going to Uconn then transferring to Washington.

But we were still stuck with Burleson :(

I was just being a smartass, but I didn't know they actually were related. Nate has been a great help to my fantasy football team this year.

Yeah, Burleson (nate) has really been a godsend with Moss out for six games. He's developing quite nicely, I'd say.
