Man, I don't know about the Blues this year. They really pissed me off by non-tendering Demitra. Only a return by MacInnis (doubtful) and the emergence of Lalime as a shutdown goalie and someone to step up an score some goals in place of Demitra.

yeah, I didn't care for the Dmitra move either. I do like the work they've been doing with the goaltending situation (free agency, draft, trades) but we need someone to score goals. Either they think Cejanek is ready for the #1 line or they're just going to treat the RW position like they have the G position for the last half a decade - - throw a bunch of shit at it and see what sticks.

I kind of suspect they figured they could sign Brett Hull and that would "ease the pain" of losing the best forward on the team. Too bad nothing ever works out right when you're a Blues fan...:(

I am not surprised that the Blues non-tendered Demitra because he just isn't a $6.5 million a year player. He just doesn't get it done in the playoffs. What makes me upset about the Blues offseason is that Larry Pleau hasn't done a thing to replace Demitra's offense. I don't understand why he hasn't done anything to help the offense.
