Live Mock Draft

This will be the third year of said draft, and it's quite fun! What we do is get representatives for all 32 teams and they play the role of the team's general manager. They pick players, trade picks and also trade players!

On the actual draft, the draft is done live as opposed to posting on a message board, so you actually are put on the clock with each pick!

Sully, any idea what day (in April?) or times we are talking about here? If it's on a weekend there is no problem or evenings are okay. Anytime during the day between Monday and Friday doesn't work for me.

Since BF1 jumped on the Bears so quickly I wouldn't mind taking on the Chiefs or Titans. I'm a huge overall NFL fan so picking for either of these teams would not be a problem for me.

I'm a total draft wonk, and would take any team that needs a GM - I *live* for the offseason in Madden every year, and import actual draft classes from NCAA just to keep things fun, so I'm very familiar with most teams' needs and most of the college kids (though I'll probably throw darts at the wall in the seventh round just like everyone).

Teams (other than the Lions) that I'd prefer:

Ravens (though pitpen claimed them)
Colts
Chargers
Patriots (I adore Belicheck's BPA philosophy)
Chefs

To wasup21 - I don't like your short fuse. It won't go over at all in the draft... I have no patience for complaints. Convince me you won't act like this when the draft gets started and I'll put you down.

i just want to say that ive been a die-hard Hawks fan....from the yrs of Zorn,Largent,Doornick(yes even Franco Harris when he was about to retire)--going into the good days under Knox(Mr."Butterfingers" Krieg,Warner(the other Curt),Largent, that stud city of a secondary(Easley & Co.)---yes, had to go through the crappy yrs(Behring as owner, Flores as coach, Mark's little Bro. as QB(McGuire)---we may had Blades and Tez--but that was it)..ive even wondered at times what if ........(and the first pick is Drew Bledsoe..instead of Mirer--where could the team have gone????), oh well---dont know why Erickson was hired(never will make it as a NFL coach), but, why cant Holmgren do more(hopefully????) with the talent he has...i would figure if i was GM..my first pick will either be DE,DT or OLB...either 1 of the Cody's or Johnson..but that all depends on how the draft goes......lol let me know your decision sully

I came over from the Ravens Insider board (where I am a long-time member) where someone posted an inquiry. I see that a couple of people have listed Baltimore as a team they would like but also listed other teams they were interested in. I would like the Ravens if neither of those people really are set on being them. If those other two guys could act as one of their other choices, I would be Baltimore if that's cool.

Hey Sully, I'd really like to be involved in this live draft as the Rams GM. I've been a Rams fan all my life and have had to watch them draft players like Lawrence Philips, Trung Candidate, Jacoby Shepherd and Travis Scott (remember him?) and if you choose me I won't make the same mistakes. I've read up ALOT on this years draft and and know the Rams needs very well, which have changed slightly with Tinoisamoa moving to SS and Archuleta moving to FS.

I'll deffinitely turn up to the draft and take a very active role. So what do you say. Can I be the Rams GM?

Hey Sully... I just read your post on the Insiders, I am a huge Browns fan and definitely interested in drafting for them. I know the college players well (even better after spending 2 hours a day watching live feeds from the combine on the NFL Network) and draft day for me IS Christmas!
