According to a Fox Sports story, the Los Angeles Dodgers (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/51) have contacted the Pirates (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/55) about the availability of shortstop Jack Wilson (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/3528). The Dodgers (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/51), given an opening in the National League West by Arizona's slump, want to acquire a shortstop in the wake of back surgery for their shortstop, Rafael Furcal (http://www.fannation.com/tags/show_tag/3446), who will be sidelined for eight weeks.

Please Dodgers, trade for Wilson. The Pirates need prospects and Wilson is expendable.

Man my brother is gonna be pissed if the Pirates trade Wilson before we get to see them play this weekend.

Well, I don't want to see your brother pissed but I think the Pirates need some serious help and trading Wilson would certainly do that.

Ya know, another thing is that the Pirates could always trade him to the Cardinals. I'm sure your brother would enjoy that.

OOooooh yeah he would haha. I'd rather have Jack than Izturis anyday personally.
