and it is a great avatar
which reminds me, what do you think about Kwame Brown (I think the Celtics should go after him), he could be decent filling in like pj did this year.

im not sure about him, he hasnt really done anything since he came in, but if there is one guy who could help him out it would be KG, i just dont think the celtics have the money to bring in a project guy like him

Right, poor Kwame is so use to big money he wouldn't take a pay cut. I'll miss playing with him on NBA Live. Me and a buddy always play with the Grizzlies just so we can embarrass people with Kwame, Darko, and Hakim Warrick. And I'd like to buy a 54 jersey in Celtic green...

im not saying he demands a big contract im saying the celtics as it is have cap trouble because of the big 3 contracts, they are already over the cap limit and can barely sign Posey or Maggette.

Well, it's Kwame. He'll want big money. It's a shame Posey has let success blind him. Sweaty Maggette should work out pretty good in Boston.

3 years 12 million dollars and Posey wasn't happy, yet Maggette who made much more than that is willing to take a pay cut to play in Boston, and Posey reportedly is in love with Boston and doesn't want to leave. If he follows the money good for him but he wont have as much fun as he did last year.

I heard Posey wanted somewhere between 5-6 million a year. Poor Maggette probably just wants to get the hell out of LA.

maybe, but I heard as well he wants a 4 to 6 year deal, and the celtics dont have the money to give him 5 or 6 mill for 4 to 6 years, the big 3 should restructure there contracts to help out but that would never happen I dont think.

Hey O'Donal I posted once more in the other thread before you moved these (or shortly there after). Just Fyi. Oh yeah, I love the fact that the title is Kwame.

Kwame is a very good man-to-man defender down low and has shown flashes of having a decent post-up game. But the kid can't catch for shit and has serious confidence issues.
He needs to go somewhere that he isn't counted on to do anything except come in and play defense. I'd take him back on the Lakers in a heartbeat as a backup to Bynum and Gasol to come in and give them 10 minutes of defense, but that is about it.

exactly, he would be good on the Celtics.
He gets 30 pts 20 assists on NBA Live when I put him at PG.

I will laugh if Danny Ainge's unwillingness to spend the full MLE on Posey ends up forcing him to use it on Kwame Brown and Darius Miles.

But where does he fit in? Behind Perkins, Big Baby, Powe, PJ, KG, etc. A lot of money to pay someone for something you already have.

If PJ retires which seems likely he just replaces him although I would assume he gets a short deal (2 yrs or less) since they will want to give Powe, Big Baby more playing time.

I'd be surprised to see him sign somewhere that he isn't going to get much PT. Someone will still be willing to give him 20 minutes a game somewhere.

I don't expect him to sign with Boston as he can get more minutes and possibly more money elsewhere. I could see them having interest though.

Having him on my team the last couple years and legitimately pulling for him to succeed, it pains me to say that I don't necessarily think that winning is maybe pretty far from his mind right now. I think he's more interested in proving himself through skills -- which means he'd need to see the floor a lot. He isn't a great role player.

Exactly. He's not a guy thats going to want to come of a bench and contribute

The way he can contribute to a good team would be very important and incredibly valuable, but I don't think he has the mindset for it. He has too much baggage that was piled on him.
It isn't his fault, but he was drafted too high and people will always blame him for being a #1 pick.
