at the beginning of the season everyone said that it would come down to these two teams in the east and so it has.....I just want to say good luck to the Pistons fans on this board...its going to be a great series and I believe it can go either way.

I wont lose sleep either way.

Both these teams are old....

They are trying to hype it like its gonna be a rivalry for years to come...

Not gonna happen. IF the Celts return to regular season form they win. IF they continue to play like they have the last month they lose.

ITs that simple in my opinion.

Yea I think the Celtics have 3 years including this one so 2 more after until things start falling apart because of aging

Ray Allen will be the first to go, he's showing in the playoffs right now that he is losing it

Boston doesnt have the right energy to win imo

Eventually the inability to win on the road is gonna bite them in the ass

It might be tonight

I was thinking the same. Going to back to back game 7's hurts, especially when they're good enough to finish off opponents quickly.

The energy I dont know about because they have come out in most games and played at a good level and the energy was there, or someone comes off the bench and lights the team up ala Eddie House but I agree if they cant win on the road in this series it will cost them.

Looked like the Pistons weren't the ones in the game and didn't have enough energy to win against Boston....Good game both offensively for the Celtics and defensively... game 1 Boston

Man how about them Celtics? Pistons had the Celtics on little rest and they couldn't handle the Truth. I'm sticking with Celts in 5.

How did game 1 go in Rd 1 and Rd 2?

Were they short series?

Like I said if the Celtics play like they did last night which they played the same in RD 1 and RD 2 then it will be a short series, meaning IMA if they play like that for every game! then it will be a short series, we all know on the road the Celtics in the playoffs become a different team, if they can play on the road like last night = short series

I'd say less then that, this year and next..then after that...

Ray Allen hasnt been a factor this post season. He's been about as effective as brent barry!

KG's not that old, but he's already logged a lot of games and minutes!

Not necessarily. The Pistons played like poop last night and only lost by 8. If the Celtics play the same way the whole series and the Pistons play better, it could be a short series the other way.

what were the celtics suppose to do win by 20? They played great defense on the Pistons had more energy and had the lead the whole game.....not much more you can do then that.

I'm cheering for both these teams to lose.

I have no regard for reality or impossibilities. I just really wish both these teams could lose.

They are only good for me to poop on.
