It's not just you. They suck.

especially without the prescence of TJ ford... the kid was a spark plug last year, i hope he regains the speed and quickness he possessed while he played.

IF he ever even plays again.

The promising play-off seed last year started to evaporate when TJ went down. They haven't looked the same since, and can't seem to finish many of their games so far this year.

I like VanHorn, but so far the dividends have more often been missing that not. Not sure what chemistry at this point could pull the marginal overall talent into contention.

A long way from over, but very disappointing so far.

On the good side of things, I'm hoping this gets some front office/ownership attention NOW (or SOON), and changes can be put in the works.

What's their record? 4-9? 4-8? I don't know if "suck" is the right word. They've been in 4 or 5 games where inside of two minutes, they've failed to execute on the offensive side.

The first Miami loss was deflating because they were up by 2 with 4 seconds left in OT and turned it over and subsequently lost in 2OT.

Its a long season and lets not right them off just yet. Are they going to win 50? No. But above .500 may still be obtainable.

One guy doesn't make a 7 game difference so don't go saying just cuz TJ isn't here we suck.

True.

I'm not sure what 7-game difference you mean. Compared to last year's different schedule against different teams with different players, at this point game-wise in the schedule ??

My point was that since TJ went down, we haven't done as well. Is he "the" difference ?? Of course not.

Has it played a role ?? The games with and games without would suggest so.

It has a lot more to it, obviously.

Well, when i wrote that they were 7 under 500. Last year they finished 500. So i was sayin one guy wouldn't of taken some of those losses back at put them on the W side. O most definatly he would have made a impact if he played, but i still think the bucks would suck even with him. They aren't playin as a team. I hope they find themselves sometime soon.

I am not ready to say this team sucks. They have talent (maybe not NBA superstar names that are heard on ESPN each night). I think injuries are a major cause of our subpar start to the season. Because of those, players are either getting more play time, starting when they may not have been intended to. Also, noting Kendall Gill, they are still learning how to play on the floor with each other. Given some time, hopefully not too much more time, I think they'll start showing us what they can do.

Tonight's win against Indiana was a good one, especially at the Bradley Center. I just hope on Tuesday we play competitively against Sacramento (a win would be a welcome surprise, but not expected).

Whos injured?????? DAN SANTIAGO! What an impact player. Other than him no one else was injured. Like i said before, TJ wouldn't make that big of a difference to get us back over 500. So for one, don't blame it on injuries. 2) They should know how to play with each other by now. Thats what preseason and practice is for. I don't think they can do much more than what they are doing. I thought in the beginning of the year, other teams weren't going to be as good but they are. This is going to be a LONG year. They are worse than the brewers....and thats sad.

Ummmm....? Well let see: Toni Kukoc has been out since the 4th game, Keith Van Horn has been out for over a week, Mike James missed quite a few games early, Zendon Hamilton just got back, Fizer was hurt, ZaZa missed a few games due to a foot injury, Joe Smith missed a few games, and you can throw in TJ too. Id say that is alot of injuries...

O.K you made a point for Toni. KVH isn't on the IR which means it isn't bad enough that he can't play. Mike James isn't playing like he should be. ZH isn't all that great. Fizer was hurt BEFORE he was here, we were stupid to sign him while he was still hurt. A few games is nothin from Zaza for a stubbed toe. Joe could play if he wanted to. I already said like this whole thread to stop whining about TJ. He wouldn't make that big of a difference anyway.

No, he's not on IR because they already have 3 players on it. No room.

Whining? I'm stating a fact. An injury to your first round pick and starting point guard is going to have an effect on the team. Period.

He wouldn't make that big of a difference anyway.

Ok, two stats: Bucks w/TJ Ford starting were 29-26. Since the injury, 20-30. That a winning % of .527 to .400 respectively

Joe could play if he wanted to.

So what are you saying, he just sat out for the hell of it? I dont think so.

ZH isn't all that great

Maybe, maybe not, but he was hurt wasnt he? And you did ask "who's injured?!?!?!" For the record, the one game he played over 10 minutes he put up 12 and 6.

Kinda nice to see'em finish a game last night. Although they seemed a little rough down the stretch.

Nice to see Mason's shot at the end of the 3rd, too.

I'm not blaming performances on injuries or even saying they shouldn't know how to play with each other. I'm looking for reasons for our performances. I do believe the injuries are a factor. Different starting line-ups and susbtitutions do play a role, minor but yet a role. However, having said that - it is their profession, they need to perform with whomever is on the court to get the wins, especially games we should win. No excuses...just looking for reasons. If they find the reasons, they should then be able to fix the problems and not excuse them.

It was a sarcastic "whos hurt" like who important it hurt. For example, if the heat like wade and shaq for weeks upon weeks. For us it would be redd and mason. The good guys aren't hurt and the other guys are just players to fill the roster.
