I've been dreaming of this trade for awhile, but today was the first day I've seen it rported as an rumour on ESPN:
Micheal Redd to the Nuggets for Nene and Skita.

I don't mind it but is Nene worth it? I say trade him before he really drops off the hill.

Nene isn't that bad of a player. I wouldn't do it b/c I want to resign him but I don't think it will happen.

Nene could play either play center(in the east, he would be better than the vast majority of his competitors) or power forward, where he could be dominant in the East. He's young, very strong, and has an improving offensive game--His defense and rebounding are already better than what the Bucks currently have.


And then you get Skita as well- a 7 footer with very good offensive moves, but a little weak defensively. I say give him some time at SF and try to turn him into a poor man's Nowitzki, or at least a KVH clone.

Personally, I'd love to keep Redd, but I don't see him staying and can't find a better package out their in exchange for him...


...but if it makes you feel better, maybe the Bucks could throw in next year's 2nd rounder in return for the Nugget's first rounder as well.
