I saw this posted by a guy on Espn what do you guys think?
Best and worst has been covered to no end...
It's easy to see why Green Bay fans are picked as the best. The worst could be debated until the end of time.
How about the most loyal? Teams that have been around since the dawn of time, only to see their teams be pathetic year after year.
#5. Falcons fans could have been higher, but the Falcons have only been around since 1966. And though they have stunk it up historically, they have had some recent success including a Superbowl trip!
#4. Cardinal fans could have been higher on the list if the Cards hadn't left St. Louis for Phoenix. you have to have a team for decades to make this list! But they have been pretty pathetic over the latter half of their history.
#3. Charger fans put up with a lot, but the Chargers have only been around since 1960 and have had some mixed success, but not for a while. There's worse teams, therefore more loyal fans out there!
Ahhhhh, the Saints! Now we are getting close... I rank them #2 for putting up with this franchise. Chronically crappy since 1967. It took 20 years to make their first playoff visit... And it may take another 20 years for them to reach a Superbowl!!!
So, the most loyal fans have got to be Lions fans! The team has been in Detroit since 1930 and called the Lions since 1934. And sure they had some success in the 50's... They have not had much to cheer about since. They had a little success behind Barry Sanders in the 90's... But they have never been, and may never be in a Superbowl! These people should have given up long ago!! You have got be loyal to cheer and keep the faith in Motown!!!
I for one thinks right about us we still have hope this team can win the big one the superbowl and thats not far form NOW.
