3/6: The Washington Redskins have been in contact with the agent for Seattle wide receiver D.J. Hackett, according to the Washington Post (http://blog.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/2008/03/update_if_you_can_call_it_that.html?nav=rss_blog). The organization has had preliminary discussions with Hackett, but nothing has progressed to the advanced stages. The Redskins appear interested in Hackett, only if they can get him for a discounted rate. Additionally, the team still has interest in a blockbuster deal that would add Chad Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald to their roster.
