That was a pretty tough loss. Lakers need to learn how to play better on back to back games. I wish Rudy would give Kobe a bit more rest when there are back to back games so he can get through both games. Furthermore, the team doesn't seem as active in these games cause they give away more concession rebounds and hustle plays.

There was a very crucial turnover by Kobe in the 4th where he was making a standard dribble play and he just lost the handle on it. He was called for the over and back for a turnover. Another important play that cost the Lakers was that rebound that Tyson Chandler got over several Lakers. That was essentially the ball game there.

Another point I noticed is that the Lakers are depending too much on the 3 pt shot. With the team down by 3 at one point, Kobe pulled up for the 3. Rudy needs to tell his team that they need to go inside more and get the easy shot. The game was winable and some easier shots would have put the pressure on the Bulls. I know that most of the teams that Rudy coached in Houston were deadly efficient from the 3 pt line, but you guys know how the old saying goes about the 3.

All in all, Lakers will just have to go back home and recover. Next up, the Golden State Warriors.

This loss realy sucks we had the chance to go up to the 5th seed at 10-6 but o well. Just another day of basketball we would definately bounce back.

at this pace Kobe is gonna pull a Steve Nash and be too worn for the playoffs...they really have to start building and holding on to leads...that is the only was they will suceed in the long term...

Brian Cook claims he could always shoot like that. He did show his shooting touch during games in the preseason, but it looks like he is finally comfortable shooting the ball. Cook needed a kick to the head from Kobe after Kobe set him up during a game and he passed it back to Kobe. The result was that the quarter ended and the Lakers couldn't get a shot up. After Kobe urged Cook to shoot the ball, he hasn't stopped and it's helped the team :) I think it was against the Rockets.

Also, rebounds killed the Lakers tonight. 51-37, 16-6 offensive rebounds.

Just not enough hustle and energy from the guys. Most likely a result from the back to back.

Agreed Zhengi! Rebounding is the key for this team to be consistanly successfull.

We have known that from the start, and they have not been consistant!

Rotary: I am not sure what woke Cook up, but I am glad! I have always wanted to give him a chance to step up.
