Illinois has a great bunch this year. When they aren't playing the Badgers, I'm sorta rooting for them and hoping they can sustain a decent run all season.

or indiana
Yeah, going to Bloomington and never trailing and never being seriously threatened sucks.

They're no Davidson though, right?

http://www2.davidson.edu/common/templates/ath/mvbsk_tmp00.asp?newsid=3301

" The Davidson men's basketball team was within four points of the Duke Blue Devils with just under six mintues remaining in the game, but the Devils closed out the game on a 19-10 run to pull out a 74-61 victory at the Charlotte Coliseum on Monday evening. The Wildcats fell to 1-1 on the young season, while Duke remained undefeated at 2-0."

Let me take a wild guess - they played really well and get a pass for that one though.

honestly dude, your telling me you cant admit that carolina didnt look good against indiana? There was no reason to bring up duke because I can admit that they didnt look good against davidson. In my opinion unc did not look good against indiana, thats a simple as my statement is, please do not read anything else into it.

Playing their 6th game in 13 days, they looked tired. Because of that they got sucked into a half court game. Still, they NEVER trailed and never even had the game come down to a one-posession tilt at any point after the opening minutes. This happened in Bloomington, against a team that just went to UConn and gave them everything they could handle this weekend.

Even your boy Dookie V said during the game that you still don't get the feeling that Indiana has enough to take this game away. I don't know why you harp on this - you have absolutely no reason to. Certainly not their best effort - never said it was, but a relatively comfortable win on the road against a pretty good team after playing 6 times in 13 days. Am I supposed to apologize for that?

Mix that in with 5 dominating wins against average to very good competition and they're playing very well right now. In the grand scheme of things it really means fairly little, so I really don't know why you have to fight it so much. It's not like it's being jammed down your throat or anything.

wow, you did read more into it, i dont see how I am harping on it first off, secondly its just my opinion and I believe there are some in this world who actually agree with me that unc didnt look good against indiana, despite the circumstances.

Well, once again I don't see the point you're trying to make.

I'm saying that Carolina is playing very well. Of their 6 wins, they've throttled 5 pretty good to very good teams and played average in their 6th game in 13 days against a pretty good, not great, Indiana team in Bloomington, but never trailed in that game.

So you ignore 5 fantastic performance and claim they aren't playing well because of 1 merely above average performance in Bloomington. It's not like I'm arguing that they should be #1 or anything, just that they've looked very impressive over all, which has now been said by every conceivable expert you can possibly find, on ESPN, in SI...anywhere.

So again, I'm not sure what you're attempting to prove, but I doubt there would be many outside your fan base that would agree that Carolina hasn't been playing very well, as you said.

man, again i have never said they havent been playing well, I think they have played great at times and looked unbeatable, all I am saying is that unc did not look good against indiana, this is the only game I am refering to, i am not sure where you thought I was talking about on the season as a whole or what, but again my point is that unc did not look good against indiana. This is kinda a stupid argument so if you dont realize that I am just talking about one game here then dont expect me to respond.

Mind pointing out where I said they looked "good" in that particular game? I think I've said several times now that they looked "average" to "above average" in that particular game. I think you might gain a better understanding of what's going on if you actually read what I said instead of treating me like the nuclear homer you act like on many occasions.

Please just let it go.
