Finally some hockey at a damn good level of playing. World Juniors starting on Christmas day.....

Yeah its too bad though that Horton and Burns won't be there. Even still, this will one of our strongest World Junior teams ever! :)

Even though i wont be able to see any games....god damn you Dish Network. but i will follow most of the Canadian and US games.

I'm still kind of surprised that a network like ESPN doesn't pick up atleast the US games to broadcast in the US. I know that NHL ratings plummeted on ESPN last year but you'd think that they'd be able to to buy broadcast rights cheap and it is being held in the states.

Yeah leftclick, Plymouth, Mi. Which is cool because i live about 5 minutes from where the Whalers play. I just haven't had a time to catch any games yet. I need to clear my schedule especially when some Wings prospects come to town. Mainly McGrath and Quincey

Thats cool. I'm about a 30 minute drive from the Oshawa Generals rink. I used to have season tix with my father as a kid. Usually now I try to make it to 5 or more games per year. They got new owners though over the summer an I'm not too impressed with the direction that the teams going.

Its been great watching the Junior games, but I'd forgotten over the summer how much I hate Pierre McGuire on TSN. At least he's stopped with all his "whammo!!!!!!!!!!" garbage though. :)

No, it was a game played in recent times. But the players and owners could not agree on money.

Not sure but it might have been played on a sandpaper surface with the use of lampshades as gloves.
