I'm curious if anybody has seen the new "salary cap" fantasy football on yahoo.
It's actually a pretty cool deal. You have to pick your team based on salaries, you can change the players each week (as long as they fall within the cap), and they put you in a forum with all the other lions (or whichever team you are a fan of) fans at the same time....
If somebody has some extra time, and wants to try something new, i definately would recommend it.

I've played that type of game a lot in the past, and it is pretty fun...I may have to go join a league...
actually, that type of FF is the first I tinkered with. it's ok. but i think I prefer the traditional (salary free) ones. I rarely agreed on the set salaries anyway.

I have played in salary type leagues before also, but this one is a little differant. First of all, you don't have a draft. Everybody just squeezes the best players they can with the money available. Second, the cap numbers for the players changes from week to week based on prior performance. To me that adds a ton of strategy into the game. You may be able to pick up a great player thats put together a few bad weeks, and also play the matchup game a little better.....
Just MO though.
BTW...Very glad to see you here Bumpy

Yeah and No. They like yahoo have the "pay" or "free" versions. I ran a league their for 6 years and this is the first year im not playing over their. But it has some great things about it and some I dont like. but that is the best "CAP" version of the game that i have found.
