Dominance for the 20 years I've been following and several decades before that. Tradition is part of what college basketball is about. Why does it matter if I've only been alive for 25 years of terrific success interrupted briefly by a down spell?

I guess you're using the Cowboys fan argument then...although we've sucked lately, we used to be good. I don't care how good they were in the last fifty years, I only care about this year, and maybe the last couple.

Carolina was in the Final Four in 2000 and was #1 in February of that year....let's not pretend that they've been in a long hibernation or anything. Two bad years and a so-so year last season. A little bit different, no?
