I see back in may of 05 damn....This place will get going again especially when the draft comes around and the new season...The raiders defense is amazing they need to load up on the offensive side this year in the Draft and Free Agency....getting rid of Moss will be huge...could net us another first round pick.

I am a Raiders fan, and have been for over 20 years.

I've been a diehard fan for many years, but I admit my fanship has wavered some in recent seasons after Tim Brown left.

Just not any real personalties for me to grab onto I guess.

I could do without the Warren Sapps and Randy Mosses of the world.

But I did like Jerry Porter when he wasn't pouting, and Charles Woodson when he was a Pro Bowl CB.

Now that this forum has fired back up, I'd be happy to talk Raiders with you from time to time.

With so many great Raiders to choose from, my favorite of alltime is actually Bo Jackson.

Getting a new QB and a healthy RB may be good ideas, too.

No doubt. My dream draft for the raiders would be having 2 first round picks...Which would get us..Adrian Peterson and Calvin Johnson who would take Moss's Spot. Then in the second round Troy Smith..I think he would be alright in the NFL...He isn't big but look at Drew Brees and the numbers he puts up..PLus he can scramble so When the Raiders offensiveline breaks down he can buy some time.

He has a much better chance of skyrocketing UP the draft board, as opposed to dropping that far.

I don't think Quinn will be good or atleast that great in the league. I've watched a lot of games of ND and I have noticed too the bigger the game the less quinn shows up. I think he will be an alright QB but I dont think he will be amazing or like Tom Brady as everyone wants to try and compare him too..and with Troy Smith theres been some reports that he will be taken in the second round so I was hoping if he was there that they would gamble on him.

I didn't start watching football until Bo retired. But, I saw Marcus play for LA & KC from 91 until 94 and he was my favorite.

Other than Marcus Allen, I'd have to say Rich Gannon was my second favorite. I actually met him one time at a steakhouse. :D

Gannon was a great leader for the Raiders...some of the reason why they suck now is because they dont really have a type of PLayer/Person Gannon was...I wish he would come be a coach for the Raiders...or the OC...I think he would bring some fire to the team and he knows how to win.

The Raiders got screwed in the pro bowl this year...Lechler Sapp and Asomugha....should have all been voted in first time and shouldnt have been alternates. Lechler and Sapp were the leading vote getters for there positions and sapp has been having a sick year...Asomugha was tied for the league lead in INTs before bailey picked one off on sunday...basically because the Raiders suck right now they guys got screwed
