What are your thoughts thus far?

I'm curious what our resident dookies think about their squad before the conference schedule kicks up.

They look fairly dreadful (by their regular standards) to me, but maybe I'm just biased. I want to know if it's just my light blue glasses.

Not meant to start a war, just curious. No need to flip out.

offense sucks but the defense is playing really well, which kind of surprises me. I think the conference road games will be very rough, havent really been tested on the road yet. Paulus showed great strides tonight, if he starts playing consistently at that level it should really lift the team to another level. Also Nelson needs to learn how to drive, henderson needs to use his athleticism more and lance thomas needs to play like he did at the beginning of the season. I expect some losses in conference play but I cant see this team getting blown out, every game will be a contest and should be a fun season to watch.

Fair assesment.

Paulus looks much better then in the beginning of the season, when he was beyond horrible. I would keep an eye out for particularly athletic teams, as I think they'll find scoring easier then your average team. Marquette is one. Florida State always seems to give you guys trouble at home, even though they blow. IMO, that's just because of athleticism. Marquette was very athletic.

How Gerald Henderson isn't on the floor more is beyond me. McClure has been a surprise to me. By no means a star, but kind of seems to fill in where needed.

From what i've seen, i'm not that impressed or excited about the season. Another sweet 16 berth at best. If paulas can take his game up to the next level and that schier(spelling) kid can turn into the next JJ. There is hope.

Also Nelson like someone says needs to stop doing his best iggy impression. Your a big strong guy for your position, take it to the hole.

Hope they can turn it around.
